Follow this guide to find Gogo in Final Fantasy VI. Navigate the Zone Eaters Belly, collect valuable items like the Genji Armor, and recruit Gogo to your party.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering the Zone Eaters Belly, equip Relics that prevent Zombification. Go north to the exit or south to the next area.
- 2From the next area, go west to reach platforms. You must face the desired direction and press the action button to move. Bumping into the guys on these platforms sends you back to the lower level.
- 3Get smacked once to reach the Hi-Ether and Red Jacket on the other side of the blocked-off cave below.
- 4Go east and onto the switch to go back up.
- 5On the platforms, go west and slip past the strange green men. Grab the chests for the Genji Armor and the Magical Brush.
- 6Further west, go past two more guys to find a chest containing the Fake Mustache.
- 7Once on the main path, go east and take the stairs to head south.
- 8In the next room, USE THE SAVE POINT. Turn Auto-Dash to “On” and equip the Sprint Shoes.
- 9Wait for the rock to fall and quickly head to the nearby chest to open it for the Zephyr Cloak.
- 10Let the rock rise, then rush to the next chest and open it for a Hero’s Ring.
- 11Let the rock rise and go five steps west and two steps south. Wait for the rock and head west and south, ignoring the chest.
- 12At the door, backtrack to the chest and open it to find the Pinwheel, then quickly get out of the way.
- 13Head south, past the small room to reach a larger room.
- 14In this larger room, go south and across the chest to another platform. Head north and circle around, then jump onto the switch platform. Stomp on this switch to open up new paths.
- 15Get back on the main path, then go to the far west and open the chest on the way for a Thunder Shield.
- 16Return to the central platform and head north, continuing on the main path and going through the door.
- 17You will meet Gogo, who will join your party.
Tips
- Be careful when trying to get the chests as the men on the walkways will knock you off.
- There are rewards for getting knocked off, so it's not entirely bad.
