Your guide to infiltrating the heavily guarded Blackwater Park in Hitman: Absolution. Learn how to get inside, access Dexter's Penthouse, and manage guards.
Alright, so you've made it to Part 104, and we're diving into the Blackwater Park section of Hitman: Absolution. This is where things get a bit more intense. Agent 47 arrives at the hotel, but surprise! It's locked down tighter than a drum. Our main goal here is to rescue Victoria, and to do that, we need to find a way inside this fortress and eventually get up to Dexter's Penthouse.
- 1Infiltrate Blackwater Park: You'll start outside the hotel, specifically at the southwest corner of the map. The main Hotel building is to the north, the Gardens are to the southeast, and the Maintenance Rooms are tucked away in the northeast. Your first task is just getting through the outer defenses and into the building itself.
- 2Gain Access to Dexter's Penthouse: Once inside, you'll need to navigate the hotel's interior. Keep an eye on your map for key areas: the Projector/Conference Room and Locker Room are in the northwest, the Laundry Room is north of the elevators, the Security Room is central, and a Break Room is in the northeast. Down on a lower level, you'll find a Storeroom and a Guard Room in the southeast. You'll need to find a path that leads you upwards towards the penthouse.
Notes: Don't let the sheer number of guards get you down. This section is definitely manageable, but you absolutely *must* acquire some disguises. Without them, you'll be spotted and overwhelmed in seconds. Blend in whenever possible.
Rampaging: If you decide to go loud, your best bet is to make a run straight for the Maintenance Rooms. The guards will be busy trying to figure out what's happening. There's an air shaft in the north Maintenance Room that connects to the Hotel. This is a great escape route if things get hairy and can help you reduce any damage you take.
Challenges: You can also work on the [Crash Course] Challenge after a rampage, so keep that in mind if you're aiming for 100% completion.
Playstyles:
- Bank Robber: This is a good spot to try for this challenge. Similar to the [Infiltrator] run, you can turn off the Water Pump to draw out a Custodian. Instead of subduing him, grab him and knock him out. Then, sneak your way to the south Maintenance Room, grab and knock out the Custodian there. Finally, head to the north Maintenance Room to do the same for the last Custodian.
- Always be on the lookout for new disguises. The Blackwater Park Exterior Guard disguise is crucial for the [Chameleon] Challenge, even though it's not listed for the 'Lost and Found' section.
- Pay attention to the layout. Knowing where the Security Rooms, Maintenance Rooms, and other key areas are will save you a lot of time and frustration.
- If you're going for stealth, use the environment to your advantage. Hide in lockers, use distractions, and always check your surroundings before moving.
