Walkthrough

    Start the section and walk north through the Ruined Room.

    Re-enter the hallway and continue north, then west around the Hawaii Room.

    Stop at the corner and look south to see several Cops (hostile NPCs) at the hall junction and another Cop coming through the Ruined Pathway.

    Go into the Ruined Pathway and use Instinct (a HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) element that highlights NPCs and objects) to fool the patrolling Cop.

    When you enter the Hallway, go up the stairs and use Instinct again to fool the Cop halfway up.

    Continue to the Exit Point to successfully complete this section.

Objectives:

  • Get to Chinatown.

Orientation:

Your Entry Point is high up on a walkway at the south end of the area. An Old Building is at the end of the walkway to the west. Rooftops are at the northwest and northeast corners of the area. The large Dock area is below.

Inside the Convenience Store:

The door to the Dock is at the west side. The stairway leading up to the second floor Break Room is to the north of the Dock door. This area, by the Dock door, is the Kitchen. To the east of the Kitchen is the Main Storeroom. At the south edge of the Main Storeroom is the Meat Locker. To the north of both the Main Storeroom and Kitchen is the Back Area. The Office is at the northeast corner of the Back Area. The Selling Floor dominates the north end of the Store. The door leading out into the Mall is on the west side of the Selling Floor.

Tips
  • The Rooftops and the Old Building are good places to get away from and pick off Hostiles.

Weapons:

  • Z&M Model 60: Carried by all of the Cops.
  • Police M590 12GA: On a counter at the west end of the Back Area.
  • HX UMP: Carried by the Backups.

Disguises:

  • Chicago Police Officer: Inside the small room just north of the Hawaii Room. Also inside the Meat Locker.
  • Store Clerk: Inside the Office.

Evidence:

  • On the ground at the hall junction where the Cops are converged.
  • On the counter by the store entrance into the Mall.

Objects:

  • Bottle: On the ground in the corner west of your starting position. On the ground in a corner of the Hawaii Room. On the ground at one end of the Ruined Pathway. On the ground halfway through the Hallway (x2). On the ground at the end of the Hallway by the Closet.
  • Knife: Embedded in a box just inside the Ruined Room.
  • Sledge Hammer: Leaning against a pillar inside the Ruined Room.
