Learn how to defeat No Heart in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, including details on its attacks like Dark Giga Flare and enemy stats.

Invitation to Darkness

A large pool of dark energy is created. If you stand in it for too long, your Deck Commands (the list of abilities you can use) will slowly change to "Darkness Outflow". Avoid using this command, as each use inflicts a harsher status effect: 1 use inflicts Blind, 2 uses inflict Confuse, 3 uses cause Poison, and 4 uses will trigger a 5-second Doom countdown.

Displace Keyblade

Occasionally, the Keyblade will shift to the shield form it used in Phase I and guard No Heart. You cannot hurt him or the Keyblade during this phase; you can only dodge the attacks.

Binding Blast

This is a rarer attack where No Heart fires a quick and sudden dark blast that will bind you (preventing movement). You can still attack and defend, however, so guard against the attacks that will follow for the next few seconds.

Dark Impact

At around 4 bars of HP (Health Points) left, No Heart will use this attack frequently. It involves a quick ascension then a crash into the ground to create a shockwave.

Dark Pillar

The Dark Pillar can alter your speed, either slowing you down or speeding you up. The latter can be useful for dodging and countering, but it's not worth the risk. Use Esuna (a magic spell that cures status ailments) to restore your original speed.

Dark Giga Flare

This is No Heart's final and ultimate attack. He will hover in mid-air then create an enormous explosion that will kill you unless you have Second Chance (an ability that prevents a Game Over when your HP drops to zero). It also resets Focus and Command gauges, but items are not affected, so use a Mega-Potion (a powerful healing item) if you are hit. Luckily, it is possible to get to the far side of the area to dodge the attack completely, but you have to be quick enough. Watch out for the snake-like darkness that will track you on the ground; it inflicts Bind to make the attack sure to hit.

Bestiary - Base Enemy Stats

Each enemy has its own stats and experience based on the Combat Level of the area in which they appear. These base values are modified by multipliers. The drop rate percentage is the likelihood of an enemy dropping an item upon its demise. Which items they drop are based on the Shop Level (a hidden statistic used to determine your progress and what items can drop). Your Shop Level starts at 1 and rises by 1 each time you complete a major world.

  • Combat Level 1: HP 30, Attack 7, Defense 3, EXP 4
  • Combat Level 2: HP 31, Attack 8, Defense 3, EXP 6
