Best Deralium Farm for Upgrading Weapons

Upgrade Material Tiers Explained

There are four tiers of Deralium materials used for weapon upgrades:

• Small Deralium Fragment: Tier 1, upgrades up to +2. Purchasable from Gerlinde and Thehk-Ihir. Drops from Pilgrim Mages, Shuja Warriors, and Raw Manglers.
• Regular Deralium Nuggets: Tier 2, upgrades up to +5. Limited stock from Thehk-Ihir. Drops from Mendacious Visages and Marksmen.
• Large Deralium Shards: Tier 3, upgrades up to +9. Limited stock from Thehk-Ihir.
• Deralium Chunk: Tier 4, upgrades up to +10.

Best Small Deralium Fragment Farm Location

While Gerlinde sells infinite Small Deralium Fragments for 500 Vigor each, you can also farm them from specific enemies. Consider equipping the Bountiful ring and using Lucky Paws to increase item discovery.

• Pilgrim Mage Farm: Warp to the Vestige of Blind Agatha. Run through the tunnel to find two Pilgrim Mages, with one more to the left. Continue outside to find three more. Defeat them, rest at the Vestige, and repeat.
• Shuja Warrior Farm: Warp to the Valade Vestige in the Forsaken Fogfen. Head left through the shortcut door to defeat two Shuja Warriors. Continue along the upper platform for another, then turn left to defeat two by a large bonfire. Finally, find one more by the wall past the bonfire. Rest at the Vestige and repeat.
• Raw Mangler Farm: This method is most efficient after defeating Crimson Rector Percival. Warp to the Pale Butcher Vestige and head into Fitzroy’s Gorge. Follow the path, taking the left at the intersection to find several Raw Manglers. Continue to the boss arena, defeat Percival if you haven't already, and plant a Vestige Seed in the Umbral Flower Bed. Rest at this temporary Vestige. Run back out to defeat the four Raw Manglers in the brawl and one more with a dog. Rest at the Vestige Seed and repeat.

Best Regular Deralium Nuggets Farm Location

Regular Deralium Nuggets can drop from Skinstealers, Womb of Despairs, Shrouded Sparrows, and Bringer of Stillness, but these are not efficient to farm. The Mendacious Visage and Marksman enemies are better targets.

• Mendacious Visage Farm: Warp to the Vestige of Catrin in the Sunless Skeins Hoist area and switch to the Umbral Realm. Exit the door and run to the end of the broken path. Soul Flay the Mendacious Visage on the floor below, drop down, and attack its face. Return to the Vestige, rest, and repeat. Watch out for its jump attack and dodge towards it.
