Walkthrough

    Warp to the Vestige of Catrin in the Hoist.

    Exit the room and make your way left across the shortcut.

    Follow the tunnel past the enemies into the next room.

    Head through the small doorway. If you haven't opened the shortcut, you'll need to go up the stairs to the right, use your lamp to pass through bars, and navigate around.

    Once in the room with empty cages, defeat the enemies.

    Climb the ladder next to the cages.

    From the top of the ladder, either enter the Umbral Realm or turn left and use your lamp to reveal a bone bridge.

    Cross the bone bridge to the top of a stack of cages.

    At the end of the bridge, you will find a corpse with the Sunless Skein Key.

Sunless Skein Door Locations:

The Sunless Skein Key unlocks two doors, one in Calrath and one in the Sunless Skein Mines. Both lead to a large area with valuable loot.

Calrath Door:

  1. Warp to the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch in the Alehouse.
  2. Exit the room via the doorway opposite the Vestige (drop down).
  3. Turn left and defeat the Raw Mangler at the end of the path.
  4. Cross the bridge and go around the corner.
  5. Enter the Umbral Realm to reveal a bone bridge.
  6. Walk to the end of the bone bridge.
  7. Pull over the small platform to the right on the other side.
  8. Head across the newly accessible bridge.
  9. Be prepared to fight three enemies: the Infernal Enchantress (highest threat), the Bringer of Stillness (to her right), and a Raw Mangler (below the bridge to your left).
  10. Defeat the Infernal Enchantress first, then the Bringer of Stillness. You can optionally grab an Emergence Effigy to the left if you wish to avoid fighting the Bringer. Defeat the Raw Mangler if it approaches.
  11. After defeating the enemies, head to the buildings behind the Infernal Enchantress to find the Sunless Skein door.

Sunless Skein Mines Door:

  1. Warp to the Vestige of Hooded Antuli.
  2. Follow the path behind the Vestige.
  3. The door will be located at the end of the tunnel.
