Upon entering the secret crypt, switch to Umbral. The area is protected from Dread build-up.

In the main chamber, locate and interact with the three Umbral blockers. One is near the ladder, another is across the bridge, and the third is under the bridge. To reach the third blocker, soul-flay the platform to its right (when facing the wall) to nudge it forward, allowing you to land on it.
