Navigate Redcopse Village in Lords of the Fallen (2023) with our walkthrough. Learn to defeat Holy Bulwark Otto, find The Iron Wayfarer, and explore the Deserted Village.
Walkthrough
- 1Before reaching the Vestige of Ranik, you'll pass through the Defiled Sepulchre, learning basic mechanics like Target Locking, Healing, Evading, Attack Stances, and Umbral Realm/Rifting.
- 2At the Vestige of Ranik, level up and head down the hill to face the tutorial boss, Holy Bulwark Otto, in a two-phase fight.
- 3Phase 1 (Holy Bulwark Otto): Focus on parrying to reduce his posture, stagger him, and perform a Grievous Strike.
- 4After Phase 1, a scene plays, and you'll face The Lightreaper. Defeating him yields the Lightreaper Flesh and Umbral Parasite (difficult fight, don't worry if you can't win).
- 5Continue past The Lightreaper. Take the right path to find Flayed Skin, then return and take the left path.
- 6Encounter an enemy with an Umbral Parasite. Keep distance, use your Umbral Lamp (Down D-Pad), and hold RB to siphon the parasite, making the enemy vulnerable. Defeat the enemy.
- 7To cross a large gap, enter the Umbral Realm to reveal a platform. Hold RT to pull it closer. Repeat to reach the other side.
- 8You'll find three enemies at the entrance to the village.
- 9Step on the platform and repeat the process to reach the path on the opposite side. Activate the Vestige of Hannelore at the top of the hill.
- 10Speak with The Iron Wayfarer until he repeats, “I’ve defied the wills of gods and kings. If you’d know any kind of freedom, you’ll do the same.”
- 11Head up the hill, enter the Umbral Realm to find a stigma. Use Soulflay on it to witness a past event.
- 12To the left, find Minor Holy Salts near the cliff edge.
- 13Head back up the path, hugging the left wall to find Fire Ward. Defeat nearby enemies before entering the Deserted Village.
- 14Deserted Village Exploration: Upon entering, deal with three enemies in the right corner, luring them out one by one.
- 15Continue hugging the left wall, defeat an enemy near the entrance, and another that ambushes you from behind.
- 16Behind a wall with a workbench, find a chest containing the Hallowed Condemnation.
- 17Defeat three more enemies that may approach from the middle of the area, tackling them individually.
- 18Take down an enemy on a distant roof with ranged attacks. Throw a rock at a corpse in a tree to get Pilgrim Skirt and Pilgrim Garb.
- 19Behind the tree, find an Ammunition Pouch.
- 20Return to the center and head towards the building with the roof enemy. Siphon the parasite from the enemy there to make it vulnerable.
- 21How to Defeat The Fire Swordsman: This is a difficult enemy. Use the roof for a vantage point and attack with spells, finishing with a plunge attack.
- 22After defeating the Fire Swordsman, enter his previous area. Throw a rock at another corpse in the air to retrieve the Orian Preacher Shield.
- 23Climb the ladder in the corner to the roof. Activate your lamp to reveal a hidden path to the opposite roof.
- 24Pick off distant enemies. Drop down to collect Enervated Vigor Skulls and Raw Mangler Axe.
- 25Return to where you fought the Fire Swordsman and continue uphill, defeating enemies along the way.
- 26At the top of the stairs, hug the left wall to find the Vestige of Marco the Axe.
- 27Enter the Umbral Realm near the large gate and look left for a skull to Soulflay.
