Boss 5: Mystery Creature [BS05]

When the Mystery Creature pins you down, shoot a missile at its tail before it attacks. You can still use Sense Move (a defensive maneuver) while pinned.

If you miss a shot, the Mystery Creature may attempt to bite your throat; use Sense Move to avoid this. It is recommended to Sense Move after every missile fired as a precaution.

If you are out of missiles, Charge shots are your only option as you cannot concentrate (perform a concentrated attack).

Initially, the tail will appear on either the left or right side and switch to the opposite side after one successful hit.

After landing two missiles, the tail will switch sides immediately when it appears.

Occasionally, the Mystery Creature will move its tail back and forth rapidly; watch closely for it to stop before shooting.

After landing eight missiles or when its health is low, Anthony will assist with his plasma gun.

After the fight, enter Search View (a mode to scan the environment) and look in the grass for a patch of green blood. A disturbing cutscene (a non-interactive story sequence) will follow.

Head left, enter the door, and jump down the shaft. Follow the monster into Sector 3, where you will have 23% of the items.
