- 1From the Navigation Booth (WA02), proceed right and ignore enemies to reach a vine-covered door. Fire a missile to clear the vines.
- 2Enter the next room and immediately Sense Move (a dodge maneuver) to avoid a Ghalmanian. Use Search View (a targeting mode) to lock onto one, fire a missile, and then perform a Lethal Strike (a powerful finishing move). If the other Ghalmanian fires a projectile, Sense Move towards it, missile it, and Lethal Strike before leaving.
- 3In the next room, ignore the Reo hive. Go left and ascend the spiraling platform. Rolling can help avoid Grippers (enemies that snap). Near the top, take the new path, bypassing enemies. Fire a missile at the door and enter quickly.
- 4Use the Navigation Booth. In the subsequent hallway filled with Wavers (enemies), run past them. Jump over Grippers. Roll down and jump over the third obstacle. Shoot enemies while moving forward without stopping.
- 5Fire a missile at an oncoming Griptian (enemy) as it rolls towards you and Lethal Strike it. Eliminate the other two Griptians similarly. If a Griptian gets too close, use Sense Move then shoot. Alternatively, use a charge shot followed by an Overblast and Lethal Strike. Jump up the hill to the right and enter the hallway.
- 6[MT06] Near the hallway's end, spot a lit square opening in the wall in Normal View. Jump towards it, grab the ledge, and roll up into it. Collect the unavoidable Missile Tank. Roll down the tunnel. At the bottom of the new room, take the right path to the Breeding Room door. Enter for a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically). Return upstairs or wall jump from the right wall to ascend quickly. Fire a missile at the Zoomer (enemy) in the test-tube and use the Morph Ball (a transformation) to enter the new tunnel.
- 7Return to the area where you fought the Griptians and walk towards the screen. After a cutscene transitions you to Search View, aim at the rustling bush. Head towards the unlocked door for another cutscene.
- 8[MT07] Clear out Reos and two hives. In the middle of the path, a tunnel is on the left wall, from which colorful insects may emerge. Enter it and use the Terminal (a console) at the top. Return to where the first Reo hive was to find a Missile Tank. Turn around and head towards the newly exposed door. Eliminate any Zoomers and use Charge Shot with Search View on the lock above the door. The View Trick (a special targeting technique) can activate this switch quickly.
- 9Ignore Reos ahead and shoot missiles at the hive behind the waterfall. Morph Ball into the tunnel behind the waterfall and proceed down. Slow down near the end to avoid hitting the wall. Run to the other side of the room to activate the camouflaged Terminal, which awakens the Dragotix (enemies). Ignore Reos, Sidehoppers, and Dragotix. Kick climb up the shaft, starting from the right, to land on the left in front of the door.
- 10[MT08] Kill all Zoomers. Use the Morph Ball to enter the space on the left for a Missile Tank. Continue to a room with Wavers. You can run past them without using Sense Move. Jump over thorns to reach the next Navigation Booth. Save, break the door to your left, and enter with the Morph Ball. Run down the hall, avoiding large enemies outside that you will fight later.
- 11[AC01] In the next room, go left into the lady's room. One stall is open; stand near it, press 1, and it will open, revealing the first Accel Charge (an item). Ahead, fight Bulls (enemies) and Zoomers. At the next elevator shaft, be cautious. Shoot the Zoomer on the door to open it.

- 13Climb up and hang on the walls, shooting Zoomers twice in Normal View. To jump up the same side of the shaft, hold the direction, press 2 and hold to jump high. To drop, tap 2. Hold the D-pad towards the wall to grab the ledge. Hold the D-pad in the opposite direction and press 2 to jump across. At the top, use Search View and prepare to fire a missile at machinery blocking the elevator. Look at the other wall for a small alcove. Do not attempt this until you understand the sequence. Fire a missile at the target, jump to the alcove, then fire a missile up at the other target above before the Ghalmanian grabs you. Practice jumping to the safe spot. Execute the sequence.
- 14[MT09] After this escape, jump to the top of the shaft and enter the tunnel on the right to find a Missile Tank. Shoot Zoomers before jumping across and shoot others on the door to enter the next room.
- 15[MT10] Use the Morph Ball to find an opening on the right wall for a Missile Tank. Proceed forward. Drop a bomb on the yellow grating in the back right of the next room and Morph Ball into it. Bomb the blocks to proceed, watching out for a Zoomer. As you roll, you may notice a block on the side of the tunnel; this item requires the Grapple Beam (an ability) and can be bombed for later.
- 16[MT11] Zoom down the tunnel and Spring Jump (a special jump) across a small pit to reach a Missile Tank. If you fall, lay three bombs quickly to jump back up.
- 17[MT12] Shoot Wavers in this room. Destroy the garbage in the left corner with Bombs to find a red tunnel. Morph Ball into the tunnel and bomb the grate to find a Missile Tank. Go up the stairs into the next room.
