Alright, so you've heard the legends, right? Fatalis. This isn't just another monster; it's the OG Elder Dragon, the one that almost ended the world way back when. It's stronger than anything that came before or will come after. Seriously, it drove other Elder Dragons insane with its gaze and melted kingdoms with its fire. Even after taking a super long nap, letting monsters like Dire Miralis and Yama Tsukami rise up, it's still way tougher than them. The world's basically throwing everything it has at you to stop this thing. Can you be the one to finally put the apocalypse down for good?

You'll be facing Fatalis in Castle Schrade.

Attacks

Fatalis is a massive boss, and it moves pretty slowly. It doesn't attack super often unless it's really mad, but when it does hit you, expect it to be devastating – you'll either die or barely survive. Because this Elder Dragon is ancient (it was the very first one in the series!), its attacks often have wonky hitboxes that cover its entire body. So, if it's using its body to slam you, your best bet is to avoid everything except maybe the very tip of its tail.

• Tail Whip: Fatalis slams its tail down and then whips it around. Since the tail is so long and you can't actually cut it off, your best options are to block, dive, or roll through the attack. Or, you know, just take the hit and hope for the best.
• Crushing Bite: This one's nasty. Fatalis lunges forward with a series of explosive bites, using a powder similar to what Teostra spits out.
• The World Trembles: Fatalis slams its whole body into the ground, causing tremors that can throw you off balance.
• Burn the Air: Fatalis scatters a ton of explosive powder, much like Teostra's, all over the arena, then triggers a series of massive explosions around itself.
• Dance of Fire: Fatalis breathes fire all around the stage. Your safest spot is right behind it, near its hind legs and tail.
• Snap and Drag: This attack is famous for how tricky it is to time. Fatalis charges forward once, pauses, and then charges again. The real danger here is that if the first charge hits you, the second charge is timed perfectly to hit you *just* as your invulnerability window ends after getting up. This means you'll take even more damage and likely get stunned.

Breakable Parts

• Horn: You'll notice Fatalis's horns have chips, and one of them is visibly shorter. Breaking these is the most reliable way to get Fatalis Horns.
• Eye: Look for scars over Fatalis's eyes. This is how you'll reliably get Fatalis Eyes.
• Wing: The webbing on its wings will look tattered and scarred.
• Breast: Fatalis's chest has large, light-colored scars across it.

Weaknesses

• Elemental: Dragon element is your best bet against Fatalis.
