Najarala is a new kind of Snake Wyvern in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and it's a real handful! It uses its super long, slithery body to coil up and strike with surprising speed. Keep an eye out for those head frills – they're not just for show, they can actually create sonic waves that'll freeze you in your tracks! Plus, it's got these cool scales on its tail that it can fling at you and then make explode with sound. Definitely a monster that keeps you on your toes!

Where to Find Najarala:

Najarala's Attacks:

• Tail Fling: This is pretty straightforward – Najarala whips its tail at you. Sometimes, it'll flick out three scales from its tail first, which then sets up its Sonic Burst attack.
• Sonic Burst: After flicking scales, Najarala will vibrate its head frills really fast. This creates a sonic blast that makes those scales explode. If you get caught in the blast, you'll be stunned automatically.
• Fanged Charge: Najarala will charge forward using the front half of its body, trying to bite you and pin you to the ground. If it misses, its fangs get stuck in the ground for a bit while it struggles to pull free. This is a good opening if you dodge it!
• Constricting Ambush: This is probably Najarala's scariest move. It'll start wrapping its body around you, then burrow underground and launch you up from below. When it pauses its coiling, look for the small gap between its tail and body to escape. If you're using the Insect Glaive, you can actually pole vault over its body to get out of danger.
• Burrowing Attack: Najarala can burrow underground and sometimes stay hidden for a while before ambushing you from beneath. Listen for cues and watch the ground for signs of where it's going to pop up.
• Slithering Rush: Najarala will slither really fast towards you. Because its body is all coiled up, it can be tricky to figure out exactly where it's going to strike. As soon as you can tell its direction, get out of the way and run! After this attack, it usually goes back to its coiled resting position.
• Constricting Pin: If Najarala manages to pin you down, it'll start squeezing and coiling around you like a giant snake. Your best bet to break free from this is to use a Dung Bomb.

Breakable Parts:

• Beak: You'll see a scar on its beak when it's damaged.
• Sounders: You can break Najarala's sounders by successfully mounting it and toppling it twice. The tips of the sounders will break off.
• Tail: The large scales at the end of its tail can be broken off.
• Hind Legs: A scar will appear on its hind legs when broken. Each leg can be broken once.

Najarala's Weaknesses:

• Elemental: Ice is your best bet against Najarala.
• Status: Blast is also effective.
