Alright, so you're heading into the Volcanic Hollow in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Think of this place as the fiery cousin of Sunken Hollow. When the volcano decides to get serious, usually around 8 AM game time, the lava starts flowing and things get seriously hot. You'll definitely want to bring some Cool Drinks with you; they're a lifesaver against the heat radiation. This area is pretty desolate because of the intense heat, except for the spots further away from the lava. Most of the monsters you'll find here are totally used to the heat and can just walk through fire like it's nothing.

Let's talk about what you can find and where:

• Plants: You'll find these in Areas 1, 4, and 7.
• Mushrooms: Look for mushrooms in Areas 2, 6, and 7.
• Bones: Areas 7 and 9 are where you'll find bones.
• Spider Webs: These are located in Areas 5 and 6.
• Ores: You can mine ores in Areas 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
• Insects: Area 6 is the spot for insects.
• Dung: If you need dung, head to Area 7.

Now, about the areas themselves. A lot of Volcanic Hollow, especially the land right next to the lava pools, is super hot. Stepping on it will drain your health fast, kind of like poison. Try your best to avoid these spots, especially if your health is already low, because staying too long can be deadly if you're not careful. Keep an eye out for magma geysers that can erupt from the ground and send you flying – they're a real pain!

Area 3 still has Sootstone Ores if you need them. But the real prize is Area 9. This is where you'll find the crucial Powderstones that you need for certain quests. Plus, Area 9 is a popular spot for many monsters to hang out and rest in Volcanic Hollow.
