This side story, 'The Weaver's Predictament,' kicks off in Quarrycrest. You'll find Gendy down in the lower section, not too far from the entrance. He's got a problem: nobody's interested in his goods anymore. As you check out his inventory, you'll notice he's carrying 'Gendy's Footcloth.'
You've got two main ways to wrap this up. The first involves using either Therion or Tressa.

- First, you need to get your hands on 'Gendy's Footcloth.' The easiest way is usually to Purchase it directly from Gendy. Stealing it is also an option if you've got the right character and skills.
- Once you have the item, fast travel to Flamesgrace.
- Head to the house located in the southeastern corner of the first area. It's conveniently located right next to the exit leading to the Path to the Cave of Origin.

- Option 2: A Use of Textiles
- For the second solution, you'll need to journey to Noblecourt, which is situated northeast of Atlasdam.
- In the western part of Noblecourt, locate the last regular NPC you can interact with before reaching Orlick Manse. Don't confuse them with the guards!
- This NPC is known as the Fashionable Traveler. Use your Inquire or Scrutinize ability on them to obtain the piece of information called 'A Use of Textiles.'
- With this information in hand, return to Gendy back in Quarrycrest. Presenting 'A Use of Textiles' to him will conclude the quest.
