Ophilia's Second Chapter

Full walkthrough for Ophilia's Chapter 2 in Octopath Traveler, including exploring Saintsbridge, completing side stories, and detailed strategies for each quest.

Saintsbridge is divided into two sections: the main southern area and the northern Upstream. Be aware that the reputation repair cost is a high 8,000 Leaves. In the southern section, head to the docks in the southwest to find an old man with a Bridge Lance. A chest near the Provisioner contains an Inspiriting Plum (M).

In Saintsbridge Upstream, venture west to find two older ladies. The one on the right has a Rainbow Robe and an Elemental Hat. North of the tavern, a building contains a chest with a Heavy Coin Pouch. East of there is the cathedral, which also has NPCs to interact with.

Inside the cathedral, loot the chests on either side of the main aisle for an Herb of Valor and an Olive of Life. An NPC near the left chest may have the powerful Holy Longbow, though the steal percentage is low and it cannot be purchased with Tressa.

The Pilgrims’ Plight

This Side Story begins in the cathedral. Head to East Saintsbridge Traverse to find a Ruffian extorting coin from travelers. Challenge/Provoke him with Olberic or H’aanit. Win the battle (strength 4) to complete the quest.

The Worrywart

Find the Worrywart on the western bridge in southern Saintsbridge. He fears the water level is rising. Use Alfyn or Cyrus, then exit to East Saintsbridge Traverse. Travel east to the save point, then south to find a man by the river. Inquire/Scrutinize him for information on Early Ice Thawing. Return to the Worrywart to finish.

Meryl, Lost then Found (II)

Meryl is in front of the Provisioner, harassed by the Erstwhile Sellsword. Use Olberic or H’aanit to Challenge/Provoke the Sellsword (strength 5). He is weak to axes and bows, making the battle easier with Olberic.

Daughter of the Dark God (II)

On the wooden bridge in southern Saintsbridge, Lyblac and Alphas appear. Use Alfyn or Cyrus to Inquire/Scrutinize Alphas for Alphas’s Poem. Go to the cathedral and speak with Flora to the right. Hand her Alphas’s Poem to complete the quest.

Ophilia’s Second Chapter

Head to the tavern to begin Ophilia’s chapter. She meets Bishop Bartolo and journeys to the cathedral. After performing the Kindling, she explores the town. Bartolo can be interacted with for a purchasable/stealable Staff of Wonders. Exit the cathedral and head south. You will encounter children bullying another, Emil, who lost a brooch. Ophilia offers to help find it. After no luck, speak with Derryl in his house north of the tavern. Use Guide on him and bring him back to where you found the children.
