Complete the final level of Super Mario World, the Front Door, facing Bowser and rescuing Princess Peach. Details for all 8 doors.
Walkthrough
- 1You begin in a hallway with four doors (1-4). Choose one to proceed.
- 2Door 1: Navigate a screen-scrolling area with giant crushers. Stay to the left of the first crusher, left or far right of the second (use the block if activated), and left of the last one (or enter the door before the crusher falls if you are to the right).
- 3Door 2: Climb fences to the right, avoiding Koopas and fireballs.
- 4Door 3: Jump on Mecha-Koopas to stop them. Navigate upward through specific panels with larger diamond patterns, moving right and dropping down through designated areas to reach the door.
- 5Door 4: Go right and drop onto a moving grey block. Jump to the right ledge, then onto the top block, and drop to the one underneath. Cross the remaining platforms to the door, avoiding Sparks and Big Sparks.
- 6After completing one of doors 1-4, you enter another hallway with four more doors (5-8). Choose one.
- 7Door 5: Wait for giant stakes to drop, then run straight to the end to reach the door before being crushed by Thumps and stakes.
- 8Door 6: Swim right and then up to avoid spikes. Avoid a skeleton. When a wall moves right, swim up and hit the ? block for a powerup. Navigate spiked passages and a mass of balls and chains, then enter a pipe.
- 9Door 7: Cross an area with Bowser statues. Grey statues spit fireballs, while golden ones jump at you. Reach the door at the end.
- 10Door 8: Avoid Jumping Chucks. When they shake, they are about to jump. Go past the first two, jump onto a block, and hit the green ! block for a cape feather. Float across other Chucks to the door.
- 11After completing one of doors 5-8, you enter a dark area before facing Bowser. Go right and hit the red ? block to activate the light. Head up steps, jump on a black enemy, and run/jump over a lava pit. Jump on another black enemy, then on a Mecha-Koopa on a higher ledge to defeat the next two enemies. Continue right until you reach the red boss door.
