Goomba

Learn how to defeat Goombas in Super Mario World by jumping, eating with Yoshi, or spinning.

The Goomba is a mushroom-shaped enemy with yellow feet and an angry expression. It walks around the level.

How to defeat:

• Jumping on a Goomba once will flip it upside down. You can then pick it up and throw it.
• Throwing an upside-down Goomba at another enemy will defeat that enemy.
• You can eat a Goomba with Yoshi.
• Jumping on a Goomba while spinning (with a cape) will result in instant defeat.
