    Head right and down under the rock with the Chuck (enemy) on, and jump onto the floating platform in the lava ahead.

    Run and jump off the platform at the other end quickly.

SECRET EXIT:

  1. Play the level to the end with Yoshi.
  2. Just before the exit, you will find the key and keyhole. The key is trapped in the hole.
  3. Make Yoshi eat the key.
  4. Walk into the keyhole with Yoshi carrying the key. This unlocks 'Star World 5' and 'Front Door'.
Tips
  • Jumping on Koopas is easier than going under them, except for the third Koopa where you must go underneath.
  • The pipe leading to the icy cave area is not recommended as it only provides a cape feather and returns you to before the lava pit.
  • When dropping down the hole after getting the Yoshi egg, hold right to avoid the lava. The alternative path only yields a difficult-to-obtain 1-Up green mushroom.
  • When jumping to platforms where rocks are falling, wait for a clear moment.
