Monster Slayer

Melee Combat: Utilize Silver Swords for monsters and Steel Swords for humanoids. Master Fast/Heavy Attacks, Whirl, and Rend. Enhance these by investing in the Combat Skill Tree.

Ranged Combat: Employ the Crossbow for ranged attacks. Time slows slightly when aiming. Enhance with Marksmanship skills and special ammo.

Finisher Attacks: Trigger stylish execution animations by hitting the prompt when an enemy's health is low. Toggle automatic finishers on/off in the menu.

Avoiding Attacks: Use Blocking to nullify most melee attacks (less effective against magic/elemental damage). Master Staggering by timing block to deflect and stun enemies. Dodge for quick sidesteps to avoid unblockable attacks and counter. Roll for greater distance, useful against large bosses. Enhance defense with the Defense Skill Tree, including Deflect Arrows.

Magical Signs: Consume Stamina. Available from the start, upgradeable via the Sign Skill Tree.

• AARD: Force push to knock down or stagger enemies. Can destroy weak walls.

AXII: Temporarily stun single targets (human/monster/beast). Can be used in dialogue or to calm animals.

IGNI: Fire wave for damage, chance to cause burning (damage over time). Can light torches.

QUEN: Creates a protective barrier, draining Stamina.

YRDEN: Creates a trap that slows enemies and makes spectral creatures tangible.

Alchemy: Craft potions, oils, and bombs using reagents. Once crafted, they auto-replenish upon meditation if you have sufficient alcohol. Recipes are found or bought.
