c. Chapter three: Cry of the Warsong (ROCWO3)

Begin by taking your offensive units to destroy the human town hall, then build a Great Hall in its place.

Order your other peons to build a barracks, a War Mill next to the southern forest, and a Burrow north of the Great Hall.

Scout the far left path north to find a small yellow patch of land with Razormane Scouts; defeat them for extra gold.

Continue north to defeat Thunder Lizards, using your wolves to absorb damage.

Once the first two peons finish their structures, have them build one additional Burrow each.

Have the last finishing peon help complete the Great Hall or start on gold.

Train 8 more peons for a total of 12.

Build 12 Watch Towers just south of the area where the Razormane Scouts were.

Assign 3 peons to gold, then pull the next peon to start building Watch Towers.

Assign every other trained peon to lumber, and once you have 5 on gold, assign the rest to lumber.

Have the last trained peon help build Watch Towers up north quickly.

Keep Thrall with your units to defend attacks until Watch Towers are operational.

Defend the first human attack, focusing on the Archmage first.

After the first attack, you should have some towers ready for the next wave.

Shift-command your peons to build two rows of six Watch Towers each, keeping Thrall in front during construction and summoning Spirit Wolves during attacks.

Once all peons are assigned to Watch Towers, get the Spiked Barricades upgrade from the War Mill and the Pillage upgrade from the Great Hall.

Commit all resources to defense.

After Thrall defends the first attack, he will likely upgrade; choose the second rank of Chain Lightning or Spirit Wolves. For the next level, the last rank of Spirit Wolves is recommended for scouting and defense.

When Hellscream attacks another base, watch for Mortar Teams and use wolves and Chain Lightning to defeat them quickly.

If a peon's current building is under attack, cancel their queue and assign them to repair until the attack clears, then resume building.

Focus on getting Watch Towers up after the second attack; use spare resources to build more towers.

If behind on towers, pull peons from gold or lumber to help build them. You can only have 5 peons on gold.

If you have excess gold and a lumber shortage, temporarily move some peons to lumber.

When Hellscream attacks the third base, be prepared for simultaneous attacks from two bases, requiring a significant number of Watch Towers.

Once you have 8 Watch Towers, reassign all but two peons back to resources; once all towers are built, leave one for repair.

Keep 5 peons on gold and the rest on lumber.

After building 12 Watch Towers, upgrade your Great Hall to a Stronghold and start regular War Mill upgrades.

Assign a peon to build 5 more Burrows.

Once the Stronghold is complete, get the Troll Regeneration upgrade from the Barracks and the Raiders Ensnare upgrade from the Beastiary.

Build a second Barracks.

Train 9 Grunts, 10 Troll Headhunters, 3 Catapults, 5 Raiders, and 1 Kodo Beast. This brings your total to 90 units with 12 peons.

Save resources before crossing upkeep to assemble your army faster.

Use Thrall's rank 3 wolves to scout human bases, as they are invisible.

Destroy all human bases to make attacking the Observatory easier.

Routinely defend while assembling your army.

Be aware that the blue player has Sentry Towers.

Rally your units behind the Watch Towers in case they need to help kill Mortar Teams.
