OS Tuning allows you to enhance your AC's capabilities by spending OST chips earned from arena battles. There are 197 OST chips available in total. OS Tuning options include Core Expansions, unique abilities, damage/defense modifiers, and health recovery increases.

System Unlocks

  • Boost Kick: Performed by clicking L3 while Assault Boost is active. Inflicts heavy damage using AC's weight and Assault Boost speed.
  • Weapon Bay: Allows equipping Arm weapons on shoulders, activated by L1 or R1. Enables use of certain weapons in combat.
  • Weight Control: Enables purging weapons by pressing Left + L2/R2/L1/R1. Useful for obsolete weapons or increased speed.
  • Manual Aiming: An advanced upgrade for increased accuracy without auto lock-on. Hold R3 to enable/disable.
  • Quick Turn: Adds the ability to Quick Turn by pressing Circle + Left Stick for fast directional movement, useful against fast opponents.

Core Expansions

  • Assault Armor: Creates a pulse explosion around the AC when L3 + Triangle are pressed, dealing damage and negating incoming fire.
  • Pulse Protection: Creates a fixed pulse shield when Triangle + L3 are pressed, providing cover until it runs out.
  • Pulse Armor: Creates a pulse barrier when Triangle + L3 are pressed that follows the AC's movement.
  • Terminal Armor: Automatically allows the AC to survive when AP falls to 0, activating a pulse barrier.
