Hey there! Ready to do some sky-high treasure hunting in Dragon Quest XI S? The Whale Way Stations are these cool little spots you can visit, and while some are pretty bare, others hide some neat stuff. Let's break down what you can find in each one!

Sniflheim Whale Way Station

When you arrive here, head towards the west side of the area. You'll spot a chest tucked away that holds the recipe book 'An Album of Imperial Attire'. Other than that, and a door that requires the Ultimate Key, this station doesn't have much else to offer.

The Lost Land

This is the absolute northernmost whale way station. Make your way to the northwest part of the map. Behind a big structure, you'll find a chest containing the 'Good Godly Gear' recipe book. Pretty straightforward!

Manglegrove Whale Way Station

Head into the ruins located in the northwest section of this station. Inside, there's a chest waiting for you with the METEORANG. There's also an Ultimate Key door down in the south, but otherwise, this place is pretty quiet.

Champs Sauvage Whale Way Station

From where you arrive, take the path heading south. It'll lead you to a more open area. Look closely behind a tree stump, right near the northern edge. A chest there contains the recipe book 'An Earring for Every Element'. Like the others, there's an Ultimate Key door in the southwest, but that's about it.

Laguna di Gondolia Whale Way Station

Honestly, besides some Sparkly Spots where you can gather materials, there's nothing else particularly noteworthy to find at this station.

Gallopolis Whale Way Station

This station has some decent Sparkly Spots, so keep an eye out for those. However, in terms of actual chests or unique items, there isn't much else to report here.

Southern Hotto Steppe Whale Way Station

Make your way to the northwest part of this area. You'll find a chest hidden behind a dead tree. Inside, you'll get three pieces of TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCLOTH, which is super useful for crafting!

Northern Hotto Steppe Whale Way Station

Behind the main building here, you can find a chest containing the 'Even More Dragony Designs' recipe book. Just a heads-up, there's also an Ultimate Key door in this area.

Zwaardsrust Whale Way Station

This station is pretty much a dead end for treasure. You won't find anything of interest here at this point in the game, so you can probably skip searching it.
