Navigate the treacherous depths of the Everfall in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. This guide details the path, enemy encounters, and treasures within the Pawn Guild's domain.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Descend the spiraling ramp into the Everfall. You will encounter Giant Spiders and Giant Bats.
  2. 2
Continue down the ramp, defeating Undead enemies.
  3. 3
You will reach a lowered portcullis. To the east, find a side-tunnel.
  4. 4
Enter the eastern passage, which turns south into a larger chamber.
  5. 5
Go down stairs and defeat Skeletons.
  6. 6
Explore the chamber westward. More Skeletons will appear.
  7. 7
In the south-western corner, find a rounded chest containing a Leather Circlet and a Reinforced Longbow.
  8. 8
On an elevated corner nearby, find a Large Coin Pouch (3500 G).
  9. 9
Head north to return to the exterior ramps.
  10. 10
Go uphill a short distance to find a lever that opens all gates in the level. (Optional: You can bypass this and find ways around the gates).
  11. 11
Head down the ramp and defeat more Undead playing possum.
  12. 12
You will reach another portcullis. To the north, there is a way around it, but an Ogre lurks beyond.
  13. 13
If you choose to engage the Ogre, aim for its face for increased damage. Ranged attacks can be used through the portcullis.
  14. 14
After dealing with the Ogre (or bypassing it), enter the narrow tunnel to the north, which turns east.
  15. 15
In a small side-tunnel, fight several Skeletons. At the eastern end, a Skeleton Mage awaits.
  16. 16
Use a Comestion spell to clear melee Skeletons, or engage the Skeleton Mage directly if playing a melee character.
  17. 17
Continue past the Skeleton Mage into short tunnels that zig-zag south and east, ending in a chamber with a pillar.
  18. 18
Defeat Undead Warriors to the east.
  19. 19
Search a rounded chest in the south-eastern corner for a Skulker’s Mask and a Verdan Hood.
  20. 20
Continue into a tunnel to the south, which leads back to the ramp.
  21. 21
Descend further until you reach another portcullis. A side-tunnel to the west is available.

Monster Info: Skeleton

  • Like other Undead, Skeletons remain inanimate until prey gets close.
  • They are less resistant to physical attacks than regular Undead but are susceptible to fire and holy damage.
  • Skeletons are quicker and can perform Blink Strikes and Tusk Toss, which can disrupt spells and knock players down.
  • They are not significantly stronger than normal Undead.

Monster Info: Skeleton Mage

  • Skeleton Mages cast various offensive elemental spells (fire, ice, lightning) and debilitators like Miasma.
  • Spell colors indicate the element: Orange/flamey for fire, Bluish white for ice, Purple for lightning, Black for Miasma.
  • Lightning spells often have a warning reticle.
  • Ice spells can manifest as ground spikes (with a reticle) or flying spikes.
  • Fire spells are direct-damage bolts.
  • Characters with bows can maintain a range advantage. Spell-casters should use basic spells to out-cast them. Melee characters should try to blitz them.
Tips
  • Be mindful of your Mages when fighting Skeletons.
  • The Ogre is a powerful foe; avoid direct engagement if possible. Aim for its face if you must fight it.
  • Comestion is effective against groups of melee Skeletons in cramped spaces.
  • Characters with bows have a range advantage against Skeleton Mages.
  • Large Coin Pouch (3500 G)
  • Rounded Chest 1: Leather Circlet, Reinforced Longbow
  • Rounded Chest 2: Skulker’s Mask, Verdan Hood
