    From the ‘Soulflayer Canyon West Entrance’, head north-east to a fork. Take the east path to a ledge overlooking the canyon.

    A ruined bridge to the east holds the Fifth Journal Entry. A square chest here contains a Pilgrim’s Charm (useful for the ‘Farewell Valmiro’ quest). Beware of Hobgoblins and Snow Harpies.

    Search the north-eastern side of the ledge for a ladder leading down. Loot a square chest near the bottom.

    Backtrack to the fork and take the northern path.

    Follow the tunnel north-east to a natural stone bridge. A Cyclops patrols this bridge, and Snow Harpies will join the fight. It’s best to provoke the Cyclops and lure it back to the tunnel, or trick it into falling.

    After defeating the Cyclops, run across the bridge. The Snow Harpies will spawn but can be avoided by reaching the tunnels at the north-eastern end.

    Search the bridge for a square chest containing Rex Lion Padding and Sage’s Robe.

    Enter the tunnels to the north-east. Loot a square chest along the northern wall.

    Slide down the watery ramp to the south. On a small ledge, slide down another ramp to the east, then a longer ramp north.

    You’ll reach an east/west platform with some Snakes, potions, sconces, a Coin Pouch (1000 G), and an ore vein.

    Head west and turn south to find a ramp leading to ledges. Stick west to reach a watery ledge where a Gargoyle lurks.
Tips
  • Death by falling is common; be cautious on ledges and bridges.
  • Snow Harpies can grab characters and drop them. Ranged attacks are effective.
  • Save/load for premium loot or run through multiple times after resting for a week to respawn enemies and items.
  • Gargoyles can inflict petrification with their tail sting. Carry Cockatrice Liquor or Secret Softener, or have a Sorcerer with High Voidspell.
  • Use missile fire or spells to lure the Cyclops from the bridge into the tunnel or off the cliff.
