Guide to bypassing turrets and traps in Fallout Tactics' Newton mission. Learn how to disarm mines, disable controls, and find valuable loot like pulse grenades and the prototype pulse rifle.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
In Newton, approach the building housing the Ambassador. It has two turrets at the entrance foyer.
  2. 2
An alternative entry is to run up the exterior boxes, into a hole in the wall.
  3. 3
Proceed upstairs, disarm mines, and locate the turret control panel to disable the turrets.
  4. 4
Loot the fallen turrets for .50 cal ammo.
  5. 5
Be aware of traps at the top of the stairs.
  6. 6
Talk to the Reaver in the room. If he doesn't join, ensure the other Reaver has been sent to the extraction point. If he joins, escort him back to the exit.
  7. 7
Avoid the stairs guarded by mines, as they lead directly into turret range.
  8. 8
Use the door hidden behind the wall to access the other set of stairs.
  9. 9
Find the control that disables the turret.
  10. 10
After disabling the turret, fight the spider bot for a box containing 3 pulse grenades.
  11. 11
Leave the building and head towards site 3, to the SE. Loot bodies for stimpaks.
  12. 12
To enter the next building, go north and then around. You will face a bot with a minigun, two scurry bots hidden in the ground, and one in a corner.
  13. 13
For an ambush strategy, position snipers on the roof of building 2 and use one character as a decoy to draw enemies into their fire.
  14. 14
Loot the box near the minigun bot for acid.
  15. 15
Carefully move through the gap in the fence, where two more bots are waiting. Use sandbags for cover.
  16. 16
Find a pot by a bot with a laser rifle containing acid grenades.
  17. 17
Enter the building, go to the central platform, and descend ladders.
  18. 18
In the laboratory room, find the safe and talk to the 3rd Reaver elder. He will join your group.
  19. 19
Give the Reaver elder's science book to a party member and escort him to the evac point.
  20. 20
Open the safe to obtain the prototype pulse rifle.
  21. 21
If needed, head upstairs for rockets or 30 cal ammo from a shelf in the office with the flag.
  22. 22
Exit the building and head NE towards the train yard.
  23. 23
Scurry bots will attack; fight them with the aid of the Reavers present.
  24. 24
Go around the back and up the stairs to the balcony. Lure enemies to the back where they cannot ascend the stairs, allowing you to attack them safely.
  25. 25
Enter the garage and recruit the last Reaver leader. Escort him to the evac area to complete the mission.
  26. 26
Open and re-open the chest above the garage for more .50 cal ammo.
  27. 27
Enter the Reaver barracks area, located between two glowing pools, which is guarded by drones.
  28. 28
Loot dead Reavers for 2 plasma grenades. Find pulse grenades in a pot and acid on a shelf, along with stimpaks.
  29. 29
In the NW section of the map, in an open field, find a chest in front of a building containing drugs and rockets. Be cautious of a trapped chest and a nearby scurrier.
  30. 30
In the W-most section of the map, a small area guarded by two hidden bots contains .50 cal ammo in a pot and two vindicator miniguns.
  31. 31
In the bottom right corner of Newton, in an area with interconnected buildings, find a ladder in the second building on the left. This leads to another building with a suit of Advanced Power Armor in a fridge.
Tips
  • The turrets are armed with powerful .50 cal rounds.
  • The Reaver will only join if the other Reaver has been sent to the extraction point.
  • The Advanced Power Armor boosts Strength significantly.
