Walkthrough

    Drop left and ride the elevator down. Hammer the first, third, sixth, eighth, and fifth chains (from left to right) to get a [Line Jump], a [Big Shiny 1Up], a [Shiny Fire Flower], a [Megaflash Clone Jump], and a failed attempt.

    Head west and go through the door.

    Go up, ride the flume down, head south, go up the next flume, and defeat the Lava Piranha.

    Take the plume west down, head north, peel off the [Slaphammer], and defeat the Fire Bro.

    Ride the lava plume to the top. Grab the [Flashy Hopslipper] from the easternmost ?-Block, the [Shiny Leaf] from the wall, and the [Shiny Jump] from the westernmost block.

    Go back to the lava plume, head right as soon as possible to an intermediate level, and take the [Flashy Fire Flower] from the ?-Block.

    Ride the next lava plume down, take the [Shiny Leaf] from the ?-Block, and the [Hammer] from the wall.

    Head east and take the final lava plume to reach the final chain. Jump over the fence to the south and backtrack to the elevator.

    Grab the [HP-Up Heart]. Go down the pipe and stock up on POWs.

    Return to Petey Piranha.

Boss Fight: Petey Piranha

  • Stats / Weaknesses: HP: 300, Attack: 4 / 21, Defense: 20 (initially, drops to 0 when belly is exposed). The initial stats are misleading; the boss is easier than it appears.

    1. Phase 1: Petey has high defense and uses weak attacks, spitting water balls (can make you soggy, blockable with A) and a flying/landing attack. Use less valuable stickers like Big Shiny Hopslippers to chip away at her health.
    2. Phase 2: After Petey uses a spin attack, you can use a POW sticker to knock her over, exposing her belly. Her defense drops to 0. Use powerful stickers like Flashy Clone Jumps (dealing ~80 damage) to attack her exposed belly. Defeat any Dry Bones that appear.
    3. Phase 3: When Petey reaches 100 HP, Kersti will assist. Petey will use a three-hit slapping attack (7 damage each). Use the Battle Spinner and strong stickers (like Megaflash stickers) to overcome her restored 20 defense and defeat her.
