How to Get Inside the Building

The first Clockwork Castellan is found in the Lakeside Settlement towards the end of Chapter 1. After defeating the last group of villagers, enter the building with no apparent entrance by climbing through the southeastern window. Be cautious of a trap outside.

Inside, shoot the villager, then proceed through the door to your right. Look up to find the Clockwork Castellan on a broken piece of roofing. Shooting it collects it and unlocks the 'Revolt Against the Revolting' trophy.

After meeting the Merchant outside the Abandoned Factory in Chapter 2, follow the path towards the Villager Chief’s Manor. You will find a stone altar with items. To the left of this altar is a small shed containing the 'Scribbles About Dolls' note. The Clockwork Castellan is inside this shed, behind where you found the note, amidst bundles of hay. Shoot it to collect it. Be prepared for a Chainsaw Villager encounter after shooting.

Towards the end of Chapter 3, near the Merchant’s Hideout in a cave, look east and drop down where a ladder is. Take the path to your immediate right, then turn right again at the end. Continue forward and look up at the dead end to find the Castellan on top of some boxes. It is hidden in the dark but audible when close.

Clockwork Castellan 4

Go to the Forest Altar Through the Lakeside Settlement Cave

In Chapter 4, the Clockwork Castellan is located at the Forest Altar. Reach this area by passing through a cave and climbing a ladder. The cave entrance is in the northern part of the Lakeside Settlement; use the speedboat to get there and dock. The cave entrance is locked by an Insignia Key. After opening it, proceed through the cave and up the ladder. The Clockwork Castellan can be heard nearby at the top.
