The Wandering Dead Request in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Learn how to complete The Wandering Dead request in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Find the strong Regenerador in the Incubation Lab and defeat it for a reward.

This is another request that is really easy to miss, as you’ll encounter the note for it just before you ride the large lift at the end of the wrecking ball section of the Island in Chapter 14. If you ride that lift, you’ll lock yourself out of this request so be sure to complete this first.

If you take a look at the note, the description of a “strange corpse” should give it away that you’re going to be fighting a strong threat version of a Regenerador, so you’ll want to make sure you have your Biometric Sensor equipped and your rifle ready. To find this special Regenerador, open your map and you’ll spot there’s a marker now in the Incubation Lab, where you got the Wrench back in Chapter 3.

To get back to the Incubation Lab, open the nearby gate (opposite the lift) and take the stairs down. You can then follow the linear path back to the Incubation Lab. Hopefully you decided to stick around and defeat the other Regneradors that spawned during your first visit to this area, otherwise you’ll find them waiting for you here alongside the strong threat version you need to defeat for The Wandering Dead.

The Regenerador you’re looking for can be found in the center, just waiting for you to step foot inside. If you take out your rifle and use the Biometric Scope, you’ll notice that this Regenerador has many more parasites for you to take out than regular Regeneradors, and it’s also of the Iron Maiden family, meaning you’ll need to deal with the spikes. Make sure you have a knife equipped; if it grabs you, you have a short period to counter with it and wrest yourself free. This Regenerador will also make far more use of its spikes than regular Iron Maidens, so keep that in mind. Keep your distance from the Regenerador and pop those parasites on it and it will soon explode, completing your task. You’ll find a Merchant nearby that you can turn the Request in and collect your hard-earned Spinels.
