Alright, so you've been running around the Castle in Resident Evil 4 Remake and probably noticed these little square lock boxes, right? They're just like those Wayshrines back in the Village – full of goodies, but locked up tight. You won't be able to open these until you get your hands on a special item called the Cubic Device, which pops up in Chapter 9. Once you have it, you'll need to twist it around to match the lock, and boom, treasure!

Where to Find the Cubic Device:

You'll need to push through the main story until you hit Chapter 9. Your main objective there is to grab three different heads for a statue in the Grand Hall. Head upstairs in the Grand Hall, then take the northern door to get to the Armory. It's a big place, and you'll have to drop down into it. Grab the Lion Head from the middle of the room, and get ready for a fight. A bunch of Knights will show up. Keep moving, shoot their Plagas when they're exposed, and use Flash Grenades to really mess them up. Ashley will be up above, dropping lanterns. Lure the Knights under them so Ashley can stun them, then rush in for a melee attack to knock their helmets off. Once the room is clear, catch Ashley and have her open the gate. Follow the corridor, and at the very end, you'll find a big chest. Open it up to get the Cubic Device.
