Alright, let's tackle the Viper Hunter Request in Chapter 3 of Resident Evil 4 Remake. You'll want to grab this request from the blue note near the Merchant. Just a heads-up, you'll see the Merchant a couple of times in this chapter, so make sure you pick up the note from the first spot you see him, right after you get past the town hall/church. Don't grab it from the second location!

Where to Find Vipers:

You might not have seen many vipers yet, but there's actually one chilling in the town hall/church you just came through. If you blew up that yellow box in there, you'll know what I mean – one jumped out! It'll still be there if you backtrack, so go ahead and take it down. A knife works fine, or a gun if you prefer. Loot it, and you're good for now. You won't find another viper for a bit, but keep an eye out along the path and especially in the Fish Farm area coming up.

Finding Vipers in the Fish Farm:

Before you even get to the Fish Farm, you might spot another viper in a box inside a small building along the bridge path leading to the mines. Don't sweat it if you miss it, though, because the Fish Farm itself is crawling with them. To get there, just keep following the path from the Merchant's Hideout (where you did the Shooting Range). This path naturally leads to the Fish Farm, as you'll need to grab some boat fuel from a building at the back to continue the story.

The Fish Farm is absolutely loaded with vipers, so finding them won't be an issue. However, it's also packed with villagers, including some nasty ones who throw Molotovs, and a Bull Head Brute – remember the one from the farm back in Chapter 1? You can take him down with a powerful weapon like the shotgun or rifle, or if you're feeling tactical, lure him near one of the explosive barrels and shoot it when he's close for massive damage. Either way, you'll need to clear out most of the enemies here if you want to explore without getting constantly interrupted.

Once you've successfully hunted and looted three vipers, you can head back to the Merchant at his hideout or just wait until you bump into him again later to turn them in and complete the request.
