Resident Evil 4 Remake offers a variety of unlockables that enhance replayability and provide advantages in higher difficulties. These include new game modes, powerful weapons, cosmetic costumes, and beneficial accessories.

Unlockable Game Modes

There are 3 game modes to unlock:

• New Game Plus: Complete the game on any difficulty.
• Professional Mode: Complete the game on any difficulty.
• Mercenaries: Download via the store from April 7th.

Unlockable Weapons

Four weapons can be unlocked by completing specific in-game challenges. After unlocking, they must be purchased from the Merchant with Pesetas.

• Handcannon: Complete The Game on Professional without using Bonus Weapons.
• Infinite Rocket Launcher: Purchase from the Merchant for 2,000,000 Pesetas (New Game Plus).
• Primal Knife: Find All Clockwork Castellans.
• Chicago Sweeper: Complete the game on Professional with an A-Rank.

Unlockable Costumes

A total of 12 costumes are available, primarily for cosmetic changes. Some require specific difficulty completions, while others are DLC.

• Jacket (Leon): Complete the game on any difficulty (500 CP).
• Shirt (Leon): Complete the game on any difficulty (500 CP).
• Pinstripe (Leon): Complete the game on any difficulty (2000 CP).
• Casual (Leon): DLC.
• Romantic (Leon): DLC.
• Hero (Leon): DLC.
• Jacket (Ashley): Complete the game on any difficulty (500 CP).
• Jacketless (Ashley): Complete the game on any difficulty (500 CP).
• Armor (Ashley): Complete Hardcore with an A Rank (2000 CP).

Unlockable Accessories

There are 20 accessories, some offering significant gameplay benefits. The Cat Ears, for example, provide infinite reloads for all weapons.
