    Begin by destroying nearby boxes for random items. Explore the left side of the area, heading up the stairs.

    After a cutscene, a large zombie will appear. A stealth kill is possible. The cabin it emerged from contains [MAP FRAGMENT 5], [3 HANDGUN AMMO], and a rigged chest with a [FLASH BOLT] and [GRENADE].

    Return to the square and go right, up the steps of the house. Smash barrels for random items. Inside, a cabinet has [3 MATCHES]. A hidden room behind bookshelves contains [3 HANDGUN AMMO], [300 GREEN GEL], a [SYRINGE], and the [VILLAGER'S NOTE].

    Head left down the path and right through the stone wall to a cabin with a red door. Collect the [JOURNAL ENTRY - FEBRUARY 2005] from the door. Inside, break boxes and use the mirror to enter the save hub.

    In the hub, follow the nurse to the main lobby. Collect the [MISSING PATIENT FOUND] newspaper and [MISSING PERSON POSTER - VALERIO] from the bulletin board.

    In the hall with your cell, find [MAP FRAGMENT 6] in your cell. Proceed to the end of the hall and follow the nurse. Enter the opened door and check above the sink for [MAP FRAGMENT 7]. Continue down the cell.

    After the hub sequence, you can open safes and upgrade skills.

    Back in the 'real' world, move to the field with the fire. Kill the enemy in the middle. The cabin contains [2 HARPOON BOLTS]. A door across from it has [300 GREEN GEL] on the ground.

    Enter the house on the initial left. Move down the hall to trigger a cutscene and meet Valerio. Defeat Valerio using the shotgun and a match. Inspect the table behind his corpse for a clue to an [ORDINARY KEY] inside his body. Cut open the body to collect it.

    In the adjacent kitchen, find [2 MATCHES]. In the circular chamber, find [100 GREEN GEL] on shelves. Back in the hall, enter the room on the same floor for [100 GREEN GEL]. A cabinet near the stairs has a [SYRINGE].

    Head upstairs. In the room to your left, find [4 HANDGUN AMMO], a [FLASH BOLT] near the windows, and [300 GREEN GEL] in a rack.

    Enter the closed door on the far right. This room contains [2 SHOTGUN SHELLS]. An axe-wielding enemy will enter. The next room has [300 GREEN GEL] on the desk. The bench in the hall around the corner has [2 MATCHES].

    Return outside and go to the large house on the other side of the area. Enter the front door and check the small drawers for [3 HANDGUN AMMO]. The next room has [2 MATCHES] on a table.

    Head downstairs and through the first hall on your left to collect [1 SHOTGUN SHELL] from a silver case and [2 MATCHES].

Crow Objective:

  1. At the top of the watch tower (use sniper rifle).
  2. By the front gate (facing the gate) on top of the wagon to the left.
  3. By the front gate (facing away from the gate) on the roof to the left.
  4. Inside the watch tower. Climb it, shoot the crow, and drop down.
  5. Near the back gate, on top of the right pole. This crow is at the very top.

After killing all five crows (six if you include the initial one), you will be rewarded with [50,000 GREEN GEL] by the gate leading to the exit. This amount is doubled on Casual difficulty.

Tips:

  • It is possible to get through this chapter without meeting Valerio, but the [ORDINARY KEY] he guards is valuable.
