This guide details the locations of hidden keys, often found attached to statues, throughout Chapters 5 through 9 of The Evil Within.

Chapter 5: Inner Recesses

1. Key #9: After the creepy bathroom, drop through the floor. Shoot the rat with a statue tied to its back.
2. Key #10: After inputting the code to free Kidman, return to the cell block area. Check the now empty cells for a statue.
3. Key #11: After driving away the creature with long dark hair and too many arms, return to the room she emerged from. Open the locker to free a bird with a statue; shoot it.

Chapter 6: Losing Grip On Ourselves

1. Key #12: At the start of the chapter, near destroyed houses before meeting Joseph, check behind a corpse hanging by a window.
2. Key #13: Use the Sniper Rifle to look at the far building with elevator boxes. Shoot the statue on the metal beam above them. The key is later found on the ground near the door the Sadist bursts from.
3. Key #14: In the marketplace, smash crates and items on the right side to find a small hole leading to a hidden area with the statue and key.
4. Key #15: In the body sacrificing area, where levers open a hallway, look to the left. Get the statue connected to a passing body.

Chapter 7: The Keeper

1. Key #16: After removing the first lithograph, check the safe box on the table to the left.
2. Key #17: Take the right path in the lithograph key hub-area. In the first room, use the spike lever, ride it up, and examine the top of the pillar closest to the lever.
3. Key #18: After clearing the left path of the lithograph area, head right to the area with double-headed enemies. After they appear, go into their room, and follow the corridors to a dead end with a statue among skeletons.
4. Key #19: Near the gas room for Key #18. From the gate after the double-head enemy ambush, use the spike platform to reach a hidden room above.

Chapter 8: A Planted Seed Will Grow

1. Key #20: At the start of the chapter, when opening the first gate, a statue comes down with the chain.
2. Key #21: In the area with waterfalls, look behind each one on the right side.
3. Key #22: Back inside the hospital, in the circular room with two other documents, find the blocked double doors and shoot the statue stuck in the top pipe.

Chapter 9: The Cruelest Intentions

1. Key #23: In front of the mansion, search the tree to the right for a statue in the branches.
2. Key #24: In the mansion, go through the downstairs left door (dining room) and back to the kitchen. Search the top shelves by the door.
3. Key #25: In the mansion, head upstairs and through the middle double doors. Look up at the ceiling; a statue is laying over a corner in the center cutout.
4. Key #26: After the upstairs wall-trap, past the bathroom, find a door to a bedroom. The statue is on top of a cabinet inside.
5. Key #27: At the end of the chapter in the barn, before leaving, burn the hay to the right of the exit to uncover a statue.
