Learn how to defend your base and attack the CORE in Total Annihilation's 'CORE Contamination Spreads' mission. Includes tips on unit deployment and targeting.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Keep your base well defended with light laser towers and back them up with appropriate units and kbots.
  2. 2
As you expand your base, build additional radar towers (which provide extended spotting range) for better map awareness.
  3. 3
Use your Samsons and Rockos (Samsons are slightly better) to target enemy buildings. Use the minimap (a small overview of the battlefield) to target them while outside of their visual range.
  4. 4
This method should allow you to destroy most of the CORE laser towers without losing too many units.
  5. 5
Depending on the difficulty, you may encounter Reapers, which can cause serious trouble. Try to D-gun them if possible.
  6. 6
If you build Zippers, keep them constantly moving as their speed makes them difficult for CORE units to track. A group of Zippers makes a nice strategic strike force due to their speed.
  7. 7
When attacking the CORE base, prioritize taking out their construction labs first to prevent them from building new bots.
Tips

  • Try to D-gun Reapers if they appear.
  • Keep Zippers constantly on the move.
  • Target CORE construction labs first when attacking their base.
