Roaches and Invaders have the unique ability to move along the ocean floor. While they cannot destroy naval vessels on their own, they can inflict significant damage, thereby reducing the workload for your shore defenses.

These units are particularly useful as a defense against enemy Tritons or Crocks, and can deter enemy Commanders from approaching your base. Deploying them as a wide perimeter around your shipyards, supported by submarines, offers a robust defense and an excellent early warning system.
