Learn how to determine resource expenditure in Total Annihilation by checking income and construction bot usage.
The top of your screen displays bars representing your current metal and energy reserves. Adjacent to these bars are two numbers for each resource: a green number indicating your income and a red number showing your expenditure.
To ascertain how many resources individual construction bots are consuming when you are rapidly constructing a unit or structure with multiple bots, move your mouse cursor over the unit. The bottom of the screen will then display, in red letters, the amount of each resource type that specific bot is using. The numbers on the left pertain to metal, and those on the right pertain to energy.
- If you observe that your resource expenditure significantly exceeds your income, consider halting one construction project.
- Alternatively, if multiple construction bots are assigned to a single project, you can take one bot off the task to reduce expenditure, as detailed above.
