[9-3] Gaining that minimap advantage

Learn how to gain a minimap advantage in Total Annihilation using mobile radar units like the Seer and Informer.

Building radar towers everywhere is often impractical, particularly when pushing into enemy territory. Instead, familiarize yourself with the radar-equipped vehicles available to you. Both ARM and CORE factions possess a radar unit: the Seer for ARM and the Informer for CORE. Deploying one of these units into enemy territory allows you to target long-range weapons or bomber fleets at enemies you wouldn't normally be able to see on your minimap.

Consider pairing a mobile radar unit with a radar jamming unit. This strategy means you will only be detected if you accidentally stumble into your enemy's line of sight.
