Rocket Launcher Strategy: At close range, be aware of the rocket launcher's splash damage, which affects you as much as the enemy. This weapon is best against opponents firing multiple rockets. Rockets are less effective against enemies at higher elevations; find ramps or stairs to gain height. Players often fire rockets at the ground for splash damage, making higher ground advantageous. Human opponents rarely use rockets in one-on-one situations; listen for multiple rockets being loaded and move away.

Rocket Launching Technique: This technique involves firing multiple rockets at a teammate's feet or body to propel them. Rockets can be fired in a spread or grouped together. Precise aim, stance, and distance are crucial for successful launches. This is a specific team role in clan play, requiring extensive practice for optimal placement and timing.

Rocket Launching Availability: Rocket launchers are most effective in Assault (AS) game modes, where clans build tactics around them. They are less useful in Deathmatch (DM) and Domination (DOM) and illegal in Capture the Flag (CTF) leagues. In AS, the placement of rocket launchers dictates their availability for attackers. Defenders should avoid using them near known launch sites to prevent opponents from acquiring them. Rocket launching is generally less useful in single-player matches due to bot pathing issues, though occasional success with bot teammates is possible.

Sniper Rifle Overview: The sniper rifle is considered overpowered. Its primary mode fires an instant-hit bullet doing 67 damage when the crosshairs are precisely over the target. Aim for the head for maximum effect. Never hold the fire button down; fire only when aimed.

Sniper Rifle Scope: The secondary mode allows zooming in with a scope for easier long-distance targeting, though it doesn't increase the rifle's actual range. This mode is more defensive and requires you to remain still, ideally in an elevated position (a sniper nest). Crouching is recommended while scoped. Releasing the button stops zooming; pressing it again exits scope view. Practicing without the scope is strongly recommended, as it's often easier to hit moving targets.

Sniper Rifle Practice: The primary mode's accuracy is phenomenal, enabling one-shot kills at almost any distance. Practicing in instagib mode (where all weapons function like the sniper rifle with instant kills) can help develop skills for using the sniper rifle effectively.

Sniper Rifle Scope Sensitivity: It is recommended to use a bind that reduces mouse sensitivity while in scope mode, as the magnification can make mouse movements feel faster. Use this sensitivity reduction bind when zooming in for better control and accuracy, and disable it when zooming out or switching weapons. A mouse freeze bind is detailed in section 3.1.2.

Sniper Headshots: Sniper headshots deal 150 damage, capable of killing even semi-armored foes in one shot. Body shots require multiple hits on enemies with full health and no armor. Body armor and shield belts offer equal protection against headshots, as two headshots are sufficient to kill in either case.
