New Features

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising introduced several new terrain features and weapons:

• Silos: These can be fired by Infantry or Mech units, dealing 3 damage to all units within a two-square radius. They can only be used once per battle and are effective against high-armor units.
• Pipelines and Pipe seams: These are large, impenetrable pipes that obstruct movement. Units can pass through gaps by destroying the weaker Pipe seams.
• New Black Hole Weapons: The Black Hole army utilizes several unique weapons throughout the campaign, such as the Black Cannon. These are exclusive to the Black Hole faction and cannot be used by the player.
