Master the King of the Monsters mission in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. Learn strategies for Caldera of Calamity, including handling the Shogun Executioner and recommended arsenals.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Shogun Executioner: A powerful neutral unit that wanders the map. Its Fog of War is removed, making it visible. It attacks by bumping into units and cannot target aircraft directly.

Phases:

1. Initial Setup: Secure the northwest Ore Node and nearby Oil Derricks. Avoid the southern Ore Node as the Shogun Executioner traverses that area. Capture the Veteran Academy to the northeast.
2. Executioner Manipulation: Produce a light, fast unit to lure the Shogun Executioner towards the enemy bases (Moskvin's/Lydia's). The Executioner can deal significant damage to them. Avoid building too many static defenses, as they might draw the Executioner to an undesirable location.
3. Air Superiority: Build a sizeable air force. Use this force to finish off any remaining enemy units after the Executioner has done its work.

Strategy:

• General: Recommended Arsenal is Imperial. The Shogun Executioner can be a powerful ally; use it to weaken opponents. Don't be intimidated by it.
• Soviets: A Mortar Cycle can attract the Executioner. Terror Drones can infect/paralyze it.
• Allies: An IFV can transport Engineers to Oil Derricks and attract the Executioner's attention.
• Imperials: A Steel Ronin is fast enough to outrun the Executioner. A Rocket Angel can freeze it.
• ArabianSharkCT's Imperial Strategy: Build a swarm of Chopper VXs to destroy Moskvin, then Lydia. Use Defender Towers for protection against Twinblades. Let the Shogun Executioner trail behind your air force, as it cannot target aircraft directly.
• ArabianSharkCT's Soviet Strategy: Similar to the Imperial strategy, but use Twinblades instead of Chopper VXs and Flak Towers instead of Defender Towers.
