Walkthrough
- 1Secure the Ore Node to the east and southwest to maximize resource income.
- 2Build a Naval Yard and construct Anti-Air ships to protect your Naval Artillery.
- 3Use Naval Artillery to disable Giles' bases by shutting off their power.
- 4Deploy a Commando unit (like Tanya for Allies or Natasha for Soviets) to finish off each base once defenses are down.
- 5Repeat this process for each of Giles' islands.
- 6Do not worry if Giles fires a Proton Collider; the Construction Yard can withstand significant damage.
Faction-Specific Strategies:
- Soviets: Utilize Dreadnoughts, activating Iron Curtain for faster firing without taking damage. Use Natasha to prioritize and destroy high-value structures.
- Allies: Employ the Aircraft Carrier's Blackout Missile to temporarily disable Proton Colliders. Use Tanya to eliminate bases after defenses are cleared. Spies can be used to disable power if Blackout Missiles are unavailable.
- Imperials: Sneak a Transport with Yuriko into Giles' bases after destroying defenses with Battleships. Use Yuriko to surprise and eliminate enemy forces.
Strategy by LexShine (Allies):
- Build a Barracks, train 2 Engineers, and send them to capture nearby Oil Derricks.
- Construct a Power Plant, 2 Refineries, and another Power Plant.
- Build an Airbase and queue 4 Apollos.
- Tech up to train Tanya.
- Send Tanya in a Riptide, escorted by Apollos, to the eastern base (containing the first Proton Collider).
- Attack from the eastern side and let Tanya destroy everything on the island.
- Repeat this process for other bases, using Vindicators to destroy Spectrum Towers if necessary.
Strategy by Helix25 (Imperial):
- Capture the two Oil Derricks near your base and quickly tech up to unlock Yuriko.
- Assemble a strike force of VXs and Tengus.
- Use a Sudden Transport to move Yuriko to the first base northwest.
- Garrison Yuriko in one of the two garrisonable Structures on the island.
- Use Yuriko to destroy the base, then move clockwise to the next island and repeat.
- Alternatively, send a strike force of 5-6 VXs and 3-4 Tengus to destroy Power Plants and defenses before finishing off the base.
- Keep a stash of credits to rebuild Yuriko if she is lost.
Strategy by Slipshod (Imperial Variation):
- While using Yuriko to clear bases, have Sudden Transports with Engineers ready near enemy Proton Colliders.
- When the countdown clock reaches less than 20 seconds, launch Engineers to capture the Proton Colliders.
- Use the captured enemy superweapon on bases with heavy defenses that Yuriko cannot handle alone.
Strategy by SoMeBoDy (Imperials):
- Build a Generator, a Dojo, two more Generators, and a Refinery.
- Use Engineers to capture surrounding Oil Derricks.
- Build 2 Docks, a Mainframe, and tech up to Shogun Battleships.
- Build as many Battleships as possible and use them to destroy Giles' bases.
Tips
- Naval Artillery is highly recommended for this mission.
- Build Anti-Air ships to protect your Artillery from air attacks.
- Focus on disabling power to bases before attacking with ground or Commando units.
- The Construction Yard is durable and can withstand Proton Collider attacks.
