    Consultation Wing's Abandoned Area: Enter via the "restricted area" door on the right side of the lobby. If boarded, use sword slashes. Alternatively, go outside, take the right walkway to the cliffs, and teleport onto a dark pipe cap for access via a shutter. This area contains no foes, only loot. Find a bloodfly husk locker near the window, a whale oil locker, another locker with wire and a 2-coin, two lockers with 4 coins total, and finally, a chart and light pouch on a table and bench in the back. The Institute map is by the wing entrance.

    1F Dining Area: There are three entrances:
    • From the lobby's left-hand corridor.

    From the stairway corridor beyond the lobby's wall of light (left side), offering better cover but requiring deactivation of the wall of light.

    The most roundabout but best: from the lobby's front entrance, go down the left exterior sidewalk to the cliffs, follow them around the corner to an open window leading to the kitchen larder. This is accessible with or without powers.

    Consultation Wing's Main Portion: Accessible from the dining hall or by deactivating the wall of light. The lobby should be empty, but a guard may be doing rounds. This area houses wolfhounds and guards. For no-alert runs, avoid the center hallway and use the barracks. The kennel has 2 raw whalebone pieces. To loot: creep toward the guard annoying the dog and snatch a pouch from the table/chairs. Enter the barracks and eliminate the sleeping guard. Find a pouch between two cots, coins in a case on a spare cot, and copper wire near the eye-washing device. In the hallway, creep right and check the "alcove" opposite the barracks door for coins in a desk. The kennel storage room has a smashed window.
Tips
  • To obtain the dining room rune on no-alerts/no-kills runs, maneuver to the side where screens block guards' view, leap onto a screen by the hungry duo's table, lean out, and grab the rune.
  • Players on no-powers playthroughs cannot deactivate the wall of light to access the dining area via the second entrance.
  • The kennel itself contains no loot besides 2 raw whalebone pieces.
  • Players should creep to avoid detection by guards and dogs in the Consultation wing.
  • Consultation wing abandoned area: Bloodfly husk, whale oil, wire, 2-coin, 4 coins, chart, light pouch, Institute map.
