Master the Jindosh Mansion in Dishonored 2 with this stealth guide. Learn how to achieve the 'Silence' trophy and navigate floor by floor for optimal looting.
Walkthrough
- 1Escape Lobby: Shoot the skylight in the lobby's configuration lever room and use Blink/Far Reach to ascend. Access the Atrium's north side via west maintenance tunnels to reach the 1F maintenance tunnels, leading to the dining room. For first-timers, grab the level map in the 1F dining room corridor entryway.
- 2Access Dining Room: The dining room typically has one guard. Be aware of potential visitors from the corridor or B1 if configurations are changed frequently.
- 3Access 2F Private Area: Use the dining room lift or climb the maintenance duct beside the 1F waiting room (requires Blink/Far Reach). The lounge can be entered via windows. Two guards and a deactivated clockwork soldier are present. Using the lift will alert the guards.
- 4Navigate Jindosh's Studio: Located north of the arrival area, this studio has a rotating room. To avoid alerting Jindosh, use the outdoor balcony and exterior pipework to reach the NE 1F terrace. This can be done with or without powers.
- 5Navigate Jindosh's Laboratory: The previous step places you near the elevator to Jindosh's 3F Office level. Use the elevator without needing special tricks; hiding spots are available.
- 6Eliminate Jindosh: If completely silent, Jindosh is at his desk with one patrolling soldier. If alerted (e.g., by a false positive), he'll be standing, and both clockworks will be active. In the silent scenario, hide in the cot area across from the desk and climb onto the crescent-shaped ceiling. From this vantage point, you can tranq Jindosh. If alerted, a similar tactic can be used, but Blink/Far Reach is recommended to reach the cot area due to the extra clockwork.
Tips
- The trophy "Silence" pops if successful. A sign of success is Jindosh not constantly talking to Emily/Corvo and minimal flavor dialogue from him throughout the mission. Minor actions like using elevators or small levers generally do not alert him.
- For general looting, the guide suggests proceeding floor by floor.
- To kill a clockwork soldier, shoot off its head to disable it. Then, cut off its arms or perform a drop assassination. Destroying clockworks does not count as a kill.
- TROPHY: CLOCKWORK COLLECTOR: Kill three clockwork soldiers and collect their numbered plaques from their wreckage. The plates glow with upgraded Dark Vision. Plates may clip through the floor; hitting the wreckage can fix this.
- TROPHY: SOUVENIRS [Pt. 4 of 10]: Obtain a clockwork soldier's head. The trinket is taken automatically after its head is blown off and the soldier is killed.
- In the 1F foyer, shoot through the skylight and use Blink/Far Reach to reach a 2F perch, then teleport to the 3F maintenance crossbar for whale oil and coins.
- Players can explore the B1 level from the foyer/atrium, but it contains deactivated clockwork soldiers that activate if suspicious activity is heard.
- The mansion can be left and previous districts backtracked to at any time.
