Guide to Dishonored 2's Part 31: The Assessment Chamber. Learn how to find Sokolov, manage clockwork soldiers, and collect loot in Jindosh's shifting labyrinth.
Walkthrough
- 1Before entering the Assessment Chamber, eliminate the elite guard patrolling the upper walkway. If the two civilians from before were dealt with, this should be easy.
- 2Search the two walkway cabinets for loot. Near the wall of light, find lucky sphalerite in a box.
- 3Locate copper wire on the reddish pipe in front of and above the wall of light. Find a bonecharm in the maintenance drawer.
- 4Enter the Assessment Chamber by pulling the lever. Step on the first reconfiguration tile to access the NE cabinet containing ammo, a 20-coin pouch, and a rewire tool.
- 5Use any configuration to reveal the Chamber's central path and a boarded-up tile. Smash the tile to enter Sokolov's cell.
- 6Find Sokolov and his portrait, "The Blood Topology of Grim Alex."
- 7After rousing Sokolov, you can choose to take him back to the carriage before confronting Jindosh, though it's not mandatory.
- 8Unblock the reconfiguration tile and exit the Assessment Chamber, generally in the reverse order of entry.
- 9Upon rescuing Anton (Sokolov), three more guards spawn at the dining room elevator entrance.
- 10To escape, you can ride the Waiting Room upwards or confront the guards. Ensure Sokolov's safety, as his death results in game over.
- 11Place Sokolov in a safe area, such as a maintenance corridor near the foyer.
- 12Access the Jindosh Mansion's 2F via elevator or the maintenance shaft near the Waiting Room. If using the maintenance shaft without powers, unplug the arc pylon and enter through a lounge window.
- 13Taking the elevator to 2F alerts nearby sentries. Dispose of them quietly to avoid waking the clockwork soldier nearby.
- 14Collect loot from the elite guards and coins found near the clockwork soldier and by the lounge's window-side table.
- 15Navigate Kirin's private studio, a confusing area with shifting configurations that affect access and room layout.
- 16The private area consists of a studio, a laboratory den, and a balcony room. Reconfiguring these areas alerts Jindosh.
- 17For the "Silence" trophy, eliminate Jindosh first, then collect commodities.
- 18To reach the lab using the private area, refer to section [4.4.0].
- 19For players aiming for no alerts, preemptively decapitate resting clockwork soldiers, as loud noises can rouse them. Note that Jindosh is alerted if a clockwork soldier dies due to reconfiguration accidents or fights with other clockworks.
Tips
- Incapacitating the clockwork outside the Assessment Chamber by removing its head will not alert Jindosh, unlike killing it. Rewiring causes self-destruction later and is not recommended.
- Be mindful that reconfiguring rooms in Jindosh's private studio will alert him immediately.
- If going for no alerts, decapitate clockwork soldiers resting against walls before they can be alerted by loud noises.
- TROPHY: LABYRINTHINE MIND (Mandatory objective: Find Sokolov)
- Loot: 20-coin pouch, rewire tool, lucky sphalerite, copper wire, bonecharm, various coins and pouches.
