Find all the loot in Dishonored 2's Grand Palace. This guide covers outdoor areas and the 1F interior, detailing guard patrols, civilian locations, and valuable items.
Walkthrough
- 1Outdoor Areas:
- Pickpocket the male civilian on the terrace with Abandoned Storage access (10 coins).
- 2On the "dartboard terrace," pickpocket the drunken guest with a pouch (10 coins). Eliminating these guests is optional but recommended for no-alerter runs.
- 3In the Private Garden, eliminate the patrolman near the clockwork soldier. A drop KO/assassination from the fountain is effective (10 coins). You can also eliminate the nearby elite guard (no loot). Avoid waking sleeping NPCs.
- 4In the Private Garden's upper area, find a lucky sphalerite near a maid (15 coins). Deactivate the arc pylon in the lower garden first. This area can be accessed via a shortcut through Abandoned Storage. An additional guard can be eliminated here.
- 5Optional: Eliminate the clockwork soldier for fun. Blowing off its head can make it semi-docile if all guards are eliminated.
- 6Grand Palace Interior (1F):
- Entry Garden: An optional elite guard with a 20-coin pouch and a wolfhound may spawn. If they appear, lure them to the front courtyard for elimination. Avoid alerting sleeping balcony guards.
- 7Dining Hall:
- Three guards patrol: one near the throne room entrance, one near the piano, and a roving elite. A sleeping wolfhound is in the SW corner. Lure guards out for elimination and hide bodies in the cleared front courtyard.
- 8The guard near the piano can be lured by going to the south parlor. Eliminate the sleeping civilian there first.
- 9Two of the three dining hall guards have pouches.
- 10The harpist and the woman who settles near the east exit (initially near a snooty noble) have pouches.
- 11The drowsy woman in the throne room's vestibule also has loot.
- 12Looting Order (No Powers): Elite in front entryway, guard by throne room vestibule, sleeping woman in vestibule, harpist, woman by east stairs.
Tips
- Civilian pouches are marked with a coin icon.
- Eliminating sleeping guards or NPCs is generally safe for no-alerter runs.
- Use powers or environmental distractions to lure guards away from their posts for easier elimination or pickpocketing.
- The Grand Palace map notation can be confusing; this guide uses 1F for the ground floor (dining hall, etc.).
- Various amounts of coins from pickpocketing and guard pouches, totaling 2396/4430 coins by the end of this section.
- A lucky sphalerite.
