Navigate the Grand Palace Station in Dishonored 2. Learn routes, enemy placements, and stealth tactics to bypass guards and reach your objective.

Walkthrough:

  1. Players can reach the palace via several routes: swimming across the inlet, using the boulevard station carriage, Blink/Far Reaching across the rail bridge, or walking on the de-electrified rails.
  2. Upon arrival near Grand Palace Station, note that all loot in the front courtyard is guarded. Utilize elevated positions like the carriage station's roof, courtyard lamps, or southern ledging for a better view.
  3. Locate the chatty couple near the station. The woman has no loot, but the guard with her has a pouch. Stealthily incapacitate the woman and hide her body, then lure the guard away and do the same.
  4. The remaining guard detail includes two in the courtyard, one under the palace's eaves, and one at the front entrance with a wolfhound. For no-alert playthroughs, use powers to lure guards away from the entrance and the wolfhound. Hiding by the central fountain and making noise can draw guards out.
  5. Note that an elite guard may not return to patrol after being lured, simplifying enemy thinning. The elite/wolfhound combo may also not spawn, which is beneficial as they carry no loot.
  6. The spawning of wolfhounds depends on the infiltration route from Ravina Boulevard. They do not spawn if the rightmost balcony door in Moretti's apartment is used, but will frequent the water garden otherwise.
  7. From the station area, loot includes 20 (total 2211/4430) from a guard, 10 (total 2221/4430) from a guard near the palace entrance, 20 (total 2241/4430) from another guard near the entrance, and 30 (total 2271/4430) from an elite guard near the entrance.
  8. Hop the northern fountain fence to a lower courtyard connected to a terrace by the pool area and throne room. Two civilians are in a maze, with a guard by the stairs.
  9. It may be wisest to eliminate the guard, stealthily pickpocket the civilians, and then retreat before they become alarmed.
  10. Loot from the pool area's maze terrace includes 20 (total 2291/4430) from a male NPC, 10 (total 2301/4430) from a female NPC, and 10 (total 2311/4430) from a guard by the stairway.
  11. The pool area terrace typically has minimal presence, though a lounging civilian may appear. Guards may be dispatched if Duke Abele or his double spawns in the throne room. Be cautious of a civilian inside the doorless pool area who might alert others if spooked.
  12. For players without powers, cutting through the interior is the shortest route. Past the throne room's vestibule is the First Captain's Office. Exiting the open window there serves as a shortcut, but requires dealing with the captain and guards in the small barracks first.
  13. To cross the throne room, eliminate the two guards on its west side. Entering the throne room directly is not recommended due to an arc pylon. Prioritize eliminating the northernmost guard before his southern counterpart notices. Tranqing guards in plain sight can work if done carefully, ensuring the throne room's guard and maid do not notice.
  14. The adjacent
