Xu Zhu

Attack 3: A powerful, extremely slow swing that hits many enemies and can dizzy them.

Attack 4: Swings his club in a wide range, clearing out nearby enemies but is slow.

Attack 5: An upward club swing, a standard high juggling attack.

Attack 6: Rapidly press the T button for a series of belly bops that knock enemies back, culminating in a massive butt drop causing an earthquake and hitting almost everyone around.

Musou Attack: Swings his club in a broad range, hitting many enemies with good damage. He tires himself out afterward, potentially leaving him open.

Running Attack: Curls into a ball and rolls at enemies, knocking over anyone hit with good forward range.

Overall Assessment: Xu Zhu is very slow with a capital S, with most attacks having a delay that leaves him open to counters. However, his immense power allows him to hit many enemies, making him good for crowds. His third weapon enhances his last special attack, making it powerful and useful for hitting groups.

Advanced Strategy: Xu Zhu hits harder than anyone but is slow. Anticipate enemy movements to connect hits. Be wary of crowds, as attacks can be interrupted. Archers are his main threat due to his slowness and difficulty hitting them. Use his running attack or Musou move to deal with archers. If his Musou is building automatically, lay down after using one to charge up for another.

Zhen Ji

History: A woman of peerless beauty, married to Yuan Shao's son Yuan Xi. After Cao Cao captured Ji Province, his son Cao Pi fell in love with her and made her his wife.

Unlocking: Clear Musou mode with a Wei general or have a DW2 save on your memory card.

Description: A woman in a blue dress who uses a flute as a weapon.

Stages Played: The Mountain Bandit Campaign, The Battle at Hu Lao Gate (191 AD), The Battle at Chang Ban (208 AD), The Battle at Chi Bi (208 AD), The Battle at He Fei (215 AD), The Battle at You Ting (228 AD), The Siege of He Fei Castle (234 AD).

Fourth Weapon: Dark Moon Flute – On the Jie Ting stage, defeat Jiang Wei. A precious item report will appear near Zhuge Liang's camp; grab the weapon and clear the stage.

Attack 1: A spinning kick with good forward range, useful for clearing enemies.

Musou Attack: Plays her flute, creating an energy field that blasts enemies around her for several hits. Useful for escaping tight groups, but risky against powerful enemies who can block it.

Running Attack: Jumps into the air and kicks twice, with good forward range that knocks back enemies. Useful for cutting through hordes.

Overall Assessment: Zhen Ji is good due to her Musou attack and Attack 6, which allow her to take out large groups. She is fast but lacks great power or range.

Advanced Strategy: Her speed allows her to often use Charge 6 without interruption. Use this to dizzy crowds, then attack. Her power disadvantage can be negated by hit-and-run tactics. Her Musou attack is her best asset for damaging everyone around her, so use it often.

Sima Yi

History: A Wei vassal promoted by Cao Cao. He achieved victory against Shu by refusing Zhuge Liang's lure and focusing on defense. After serving four generations of the Cao family, he seized control of Wei from Cao Shuang, laying the foundation for the Jin Dynasty.

Unlocking: Clear Musou mode with a Wei General other than Dian Wei, Zhen Ji, or Zhang Liao.

Description: Wears a blue and purple outfit similar to Zhuge Liang and carries a fan.

Stages Played: The Battle at Guan Du (200 AD), The Battle at Chang Ban (208 AD).
