Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered Part 49 covers stage strategies, item locations, horse stats, and the scoring system.
Walkthrough
- 1Part 49 Stages: This section covers multiple stages within Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered. For the stage involving Sima Yi or Cao Cao, if you are using Liu Bei, both will appear, increasing difficulty. Prioritize defeating enemy generals to gain more allies for the final battle. Shu's fort is well-protected, reducing the risk to your leader. Look for the Wood Ox, which appears in various locations like the bottom right corner, to find items. Be prepared for enemy reinforcements.
- 2Mountain Bandit Campaign: This stage is very easy. Your primary objective is to prevent peasants from dying and to survive yourself. Break open containers, especially along the north end, to find weapons and items. Defeat the gate captain on top of the map first, followed by three weak Lieutenant Commanders. The Commander will then appear and, while slightly tougher than his subordinates, should be defeated with little difficulty.
- 3Pirate Attack on the High Seas: This battle is only playable by three characters. The captain you must protect is quite durable. You can either attack the leader directly for a quick victory or eliminate lesser officers and seek power-ups. This is an easy stage.
- 4Raid on the Rogue Fortress: This is the most challenging of the three Musou exclusive stages, but still manageable. Defeat all enemies and clear your way through gates. You will face Lieutenant Commanders who offer little resistance. The main threat comes from archers in watch towers that you must eliminate. To reach the final Lieutenant, ascend stairs, cross the wall, and drop down. After defeating him, the gate to the final area will open, where the commander awaits. This commander may be Zhang Fei or Xu Zhu in some scenarios, or a generic opponent.
Snacks and Wines:
- Stage with Sima Yi/Cao Cao: Snack - in a pot near the troop entry point below Sima Yi's position. Wine - at the end of the dead-end path to the left of the high tower where Zhuge Liang is.
- Mountain Bandit Campaign: Snack - center, slightly to the right, in a pot beside the resident house. Wine - left center, slightly downward, in a pot around a resident house.
- Pirate Attack on the High Seas: Snack - pot in the boat at the very bottom left. Wine - pot around the troop entry point on the right.
- Raid on the Rogue Fortress: Snack - fort's first level, top left of the area, reachable only from the castle wall. Wine - fort's second level, center to the right.
