Wei Forces: Cao Cao, Xu Zhu, Zhang Liao, Xu Huang

Wei Side Strategy: Defeat Ma Chao's sub-generals to allow Han Sui to meet Cao Cao, lowering morale and causing Han Sui to defect. Otherwise, defeat all enemies and then Ma Chao. Recommended to clear inside the gate before facing Ma Chao.

Allies Side Strategy: You have a numbers advantage, but face strong officers like Xu Zhu, Xu Huang, Xiahou Yuan, and Cao Cao. A flanking attack is recommended.

Snacks and Wines: Snack is at the top left of the map at the end of a narrow path. Wine is at the top right, before a narrow path near a Cao Cao troop entry point.

Played By: SHU: Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Huang Zhong, Pang Tong

Strategy: Navigate the forest at the beginning (use Start menu for map). Find and defeat all enemy officers. Pang Tong is ambushed and killed by Zhang Ren; defeat Zhang Ren quickly to keep Pang Tong alive for unlocking. After defeating all enemy generals, the Hex Mark saddle appears in the lower left. Liu Zhang surrenders, clearing the stage, but can also be defeated.

Liu Zhang's Side Strategy: Protect Liu Zhang, find and eliminate enemy officers, particularly Zhao Yun, Pang Tong, and Liu Bei.

Snacks and Wines: Snack is bottom left of Zhao Yun's position. Wine is to the side of the deep forest command base.

WEI Forces: Cao Cao, Dian Wei, Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan, Zhang Liao, Xu Huang, Zhen Ji

WU Forces: Sun Jian, Sun Ce, Sun Quan, Sun Shang Xiang, Zhou Yu, Lu Xun, Taishi Ci, Gan Ning, Xiao Qiao

Wu Side Strategy: Start in the middle of the map. Deal with Zhang Liao first to prevent him from killing Taishi Ci. Advance and defeat other generals, then Cao Cao. Xu Zhu is near Cao Cao on the upper left. Take time to collect power-ups.

Unlocking Sun Quan: (Requires Musou Mode) Do not kill Zhang Liao immediately. Wait for a cutscene where Zhang Liao has Taishi Ci killed by archers. Follow Sun Quan as he retreats southeast. After a bridge jump cutscene, wait for Zhang Liao to attack Sun Quan. Defeat Zhang Liao and his allies. You will then face Cao Cao's army with Sun Quan. To make it easier, clear out enemies near river bridges first. If successful, Sun Quan reaches the enemy HQ, and you win. Alternatively, defeat Cao Cao. Zhang Liao drops the Buckler special item. Gan Ning will appear to aid your side. Reinforcements for Cao Cao will arrive.

Alternative Unlock Tip: The Taishi Ci death event may not be necessary; Sun Quan retreating and the jump event might suffice.

Snacks and Wines: Snack is from the entry point at the bottom right of the map, north to a boat, in a pot on the boat. Wine is at the top right of the map, in an area before a narrow path, around a Cao Cao troop entry point.
