Learn about Thunder, Cure, and Life Magicite in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, including casting requirements and power levels.

Thunder magic is one of the three common types of magic. It can paralyze most enemies it touches, making them unable to move. To cast any of the three levels of Thundara, players must cast Thunder within a third of a second after player one casts it. To cast any of the three levels of Thundaga, player two must cast their spell from two-thirds to a second and a third AFTER player one casts. Player three needs to cast within a second and a third to two seconds (after player one), and player four must cast theirs from two seconds to two and two-thirds of a second after player one.

  • Thunder: Power 30, Wide range, requires Thunder.
  • Thundara: Power 15-45, Wide range, requires Thunder, Thunder.
  • Thundara +1: Power 15-60, Wide range, requires Thunder, Thunder.

Cure Magicite is probably the most-needed and most used magicite. Cure Magicite stones look green. To cast Curaga (which heals all four players), you must have player two cast their spell within a third of a second after player one casts their spell.

Cure Magicite Details:

  • Cure: Heal HP, Little range, requires Cure.
  • Curaga: Heal HP, Big range, requires Cure, Cure.

Make sure to get a Cure Magicite stone as fast as possible. If you can, get the Ring of Cure (it's an artifact), so you'll always have Cure at the start of a level.

Life Magicite is important in single player because it's used for fusing some of the more efficient spells. It's important in multiplayer because it acts as a Phoenix Down and allows you to heal another character. Life Magicite stones are orange. To use Full-Life, you must have player two cast their spell a third of a second to two-thirds of a second after player one casts their spell.

Life Magicite Details:

  • Life: Revive, Little range, requires Life.
  • Full-Life: Revive, Little range, requires Life, Life.

As Full-Life's name suggests, it'll heal any character to full health, while Life only heals four hearts. Life can't revive two characters at once, unless they're REALLY close to each other.
